Every step, no shortcuts.
Settlement cracks had opened in this bedroom: one in the corner beside a window, another under the wide window on the next wall.
The room was masked off first. Each crack was opened up and taped, then built up in coats of compound, with a fan drying each coat before the next. The coats were feathered out wide and the finish blended into the wall texture.
We filmed the repair step by step, and the photos here follow it in order: the corner crack first, then the window wall.
Settlement cracks at the windows, taken through every step until they disappear.
